Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the mhcctv.com website and any services provided by MH CCTV (“we,” “us,” “our”), including CCTV installation, fire safety equipment, biometric attendance and access control systems, video door phones, intercom systems, boom barriers, fire alarm systems, home/office automation, EPABX systems, PA systems, and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Site Visits & Quotes
- Every project begins with a free, in-person site visit and a written, itemised quote.
- Quotes are valid for [X] days from the date issued unless stated otherwise; equipment pricing may change after this period due to supplier costs.
- A quote is not a confirmed booking until you accept it in writing (including via email or WhatsApp confirmation) and, where applicable, pay any agreed advance.
2. Payment Terms
- Payment terms (advance amount, milestone payments, final payment on completion) will be specified in your quote/invoice.
- Work may be paused if agreed payment milestones are not met.
- Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g., GST) unless stated otherwise.
3. Installation & Scheduling
- Installation timelines given are estimates and may be affected by site conditions, material availability, building/society approvals, or factors outside our control.
- You are responsible for providing safe, reasonable access to the property and any approvals required from your building society, landlord, or local authority for installation work.
- Any changes to the agreed scope of work after installation has begun may result in revised pricing and timelines.
4. Equipment Warranty
- Equipment we supply (cameras, DVRs/NVRs, biometric devices, fire safety equipment, etc.) is covered by the respective manufacturer’s warranty, the terms of which we will share with you at installation.
- Our installation workmanship is covered for [X months/years] from the date of completion, covering installation-related faults — this does not cover damage from misuse, tampering, power surges, natural events, or unauthorized modification by anyone other than MH CCTV.
- Warranty claims should be raised with us directly using the contact details in Section 9.
5. AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) Terms
- AMC plans cover scheduled preventive maintenance and, depending on the plan, priority repair support, as described in your specific AMC agreement.
- Major part replacements are generally quoted separately unless your specific AMC plan states otherwise.
- AMC plans renew as agreed in your contract; we will contact you ahead of renewal dates.
6. Limitation of Liability
This section is particularly important for a security-equipment provider, and should be reviewed carefully with a lawyer before publishing:
- MH CCTV installs and maintains security equipment (CCTV, access control, fire alarm/safety systems, etc.) to a professional standard, but we do not guarantee that any system will prevent theft, unauthorized entry, fire damage, or any other incident. No security or fire safety system can guarantee complete prevention of loss or harm.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, MH CCTV’s liability for any claim relating to our products or services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service or equipment giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (such as loss of business, loss of stored footage due to hardware failure beyond our control, or loss resulting from a security incident) except where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
7. Cancellations
- You may cancel a scheduled site visit or installation by giving us reasonable notice; repeated late cancellations or no-shows may incur a reasonable visit charge.
- Cancellations after work has begun or after custom equipment has been ordered on your behalf may not be eligible for a full refund of amounts already spent on your project.
8. Website Use
- Content on mhcctv.com (text, images, logos) is owned by MH CCTV or used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our consent.
- You agree not to misuse our website (e.g., attempting unauthorized access, submitting false enquiry information, or interfering with site functionality).
